FSLabs Concorde Release Candidate Now with Testers

It’s been a long time coming, but FSLabs’ Concorde is nearing release for Prepar3D. Over on the forums, Andrew Wilson (a developer at FSLabs) confirmed that a release candidate build of the aircraft has been given to the testing team.

“We’ve just released our first release candidate build to our Concorde team,” confirmed Wilson over on the forums. Since then, a second build was made available as the team continued to test the aircraft to make sure it was all functioning as intended.

Further to testing out the plane’s functionality, there has also been work going on behind the scenes to prepare the website and infrastructure for the release. This is also in addition to previews for the aircraft and the rest of the marketing material.

It’s likely you will see plenty of testers on services like IVAO, VATSIM, and Volanta in their own copies of Concorde. Keep your eyes peeled on the network and you may see one or two overhead.

We last heard about Concorde’s development back in May, where we learned about some of the included features like the updated virtual cockpit, ambient lighting, and flight systems.
